This one-day workshop teaches students to design, implement, and deploy research Web Services that extend the Research task pane in Microsoft Office 2003 Editions.

 

2052: Using Microsoft® Visual Studio® Tools for the Microsoft Office System
This one-day workshop provides students with the knowledge and skills to develop solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio® Tools for Office. This lesson assumes that the .NET user has an awareness of the Office application object models.

 

2730: Building Microsoft® Content Management Server 2002 Solutions
This four-day workshop teaches students to plan, implement, develop, and manage a Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 Web site.

 

8036: Designing IT Platform Collaborative Applications with Microsoft® SharePoint® 2003 Workshop
This two-day workshop covers an introduction to SharePoint Portal Server 2003, and focuses on the development and deployment of SharePoint Portal Servers.

This two-day course provides students with the technical skills needed to write basic Transact-SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000.

 

2072: Administering a Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2000 Database
This course provides teaches students the skills needed to install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot the client-server database management system of Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000. Due to changes in the product, Course 2072 is a revised version of Course 832, System Administration for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0.

 

2073: Programming a Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2000 Database
This course provides students with the technical skills required to program a database solution by using Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000.

These skills include managing user, computer, and group accounts; managing access to network resources; managing printers; managing an organizational unit in a network based on Active Directory® directory service; and implementing Group Policy to manage users and computers.

This three-day course provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to select, deploy, and manage a Microsoft networking solution for small and medium-sized businesses.

 

2823: Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 Network
This five-day workshop addresses the MCSA and MCSE skills path for IT Pro security practitioners, specifically addressing the training needs of those preparing for the 70-299 certification exam.

The primary focus is on Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 based infrastructure solutions but some client focused content will be included where appropriate. This learning product is to provide functional skills in planning and implementing infrastructure security.


2830: Designing Security for Microsoft® Networks
This three-day workshop provides you with the skills needed to design a secure network infrastructure. Topics include assembling the design team, modeling threats, and analyzing security risks in order to meet business requirements for securing computers in a networked environment.

 

2853: Developing and Maintaining Applications on Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 2
This one-day workshop provides students with the knowledge and skills to understand the security enhancements included with Microsoft Windows® XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and how these features may affect applications that need to run on Windows XP SP2. The session will also discuss implications for working with application development tools and how to configure the Windows XP SP2 development environment.

2124: Programming with C#
The goal of this five-day course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to develop C# applications for the Microsoft .NET Platform. The course focuses on C# program structure, language syntax, and implementation details.

 

2310: Developing Microsoft® ASP.NET Web Applications Using Visual Studio® .NET
This five-day workshop will teach Microsoft Visual Basic® programmers and beginning Web developers the fundamentals of Web application site implementation by using Microsoft ASP.NET and Microsoft Visual Basic .NET. This course focuses on using the Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET environment and the Microsoft .NET platform to create an ASP.NET Web application that delivers dynamic content to a Web site.

 

2311: Advanced Web Application Development Using Microsoft® ASP.NET
This three-day, instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills that are needed to successfully design and implement Web applications using Microsoft ASP.NET.

 

2349: Programming with the Microsoft® .NET Framework (Microsoft Visual C#.NET)
The goal of this course is to help application developers understand the Microsoft® .NET Framework. The course provides a series of labs, which introduce and explain .NET Framework features that are used to code, debug, tune, and deploy applications.

 

2350: Developing and Deploying Secure Microsoft® .NET Framework Applications
This three-day workshop teaches developers to develop and deploy secure Microsoft .NET client applications by using Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework. The course provides an overview of security; discusses design issues, including threat modeling techniques and coding techniques that enhance security; and explains why type-safety verification is the cornerstone of Microsoft .NET Framework security.

 

2364: What's New in Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 for Existing Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET Developers
This three-day instructor-led course will allow the student to experience the new features and functionality of the Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 product. Students will spend 70%–80% of their time writing code using the Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 release.

 

2365: Designing an Application Migration Strategy to Microsoft® .NET
This two-day workshop teaches students to analyze their existing application architecture and design a migration strategy that supports their business and technical drivers.

 

2373: Programming with Microsoft® Visual Basic® .NET
The goal of this five-day course is to provide Microsoft Visual Basic® developers with the knowledge and skills needed to develop Microsoft .NET-based applications by using Visual Basic .NET.

 

2389: Programming with Microsoft® ADO.NET
This course will teach developers to build data-centric applications and Web services with Microsoft ADO.NET, Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000, and the Microsoft .NET Framework.

2415: Programming with the Microsoft® .NET Framework (Microsoft Visual Basic® .NET)
The goal of this five-day course is to help application developers understand the Microsoft .NET Framework. The course also provides a series of labs, which introduce and explain .NET Framework features that are used to code, debug, tune, and deploy applications.

 

2500: Introduction to XML and the Microsoft® .NET Platform
This two-day course provides a technological overview of the structure and programming techniques of XML. This course discusses the role of XML in the Microsoft .NET vision and the larger world of distributed standards-based computing.

 

2524: Developing XML Web Services Using Microsoft® ASP.NET
The goal of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills that are required to develop Extensible Markup Language (XML) Web services-based solutions to solve common problems in the distributed application domain. The course uses Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET and Microsoft ASP.NET to enable students to build, deploy, locate, and consume Web services.

 

2555: Developing Microsoft® .NET Applications for Windows® (Visual C#® .NET)
This five-day, instructor-led course provides students with the skills required to build Microsoft® Windows® Forms applications by using the Microsoft .NET Framework. This course is a part of the Microsoft Visual C#™ .NET curriculum and is intended to provide C# programmers with the skills required to create Windows Forms applications by using the .NET Framework. The course will cover the major topics for Windows client application programming on the .NET Framework.

This five-day, instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to effectively build scalable, distributed applications that use Microsoft .NET Enterprise Services and the Microsoft .NET Framework.

 

2559: Introduction to Visual Basic® .NET Programming with Microsoft® .NET
This five-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop applications in Microsoft Visual Basic® .NET for the Microsoft .NET platform. The course focuses on user interfaces, program structure, language syntax, and implementation details.

 

2565: Developing Microsoft® .NET Applications for Windows® (Visual Basic® .NET)
This five-day instructor-led course provides students with the skills required to build Microsoft® Windows® Forms applications by using the Microsoft .NET Framework.This course is a part of the Microsoft Visual Basic .NET curriculum and is intended to provide Visual Basic programmers with the skills required to create Windows Forms applications by using the .NET Framework. The course will cover the major topics for Windows client application programming on the .NET Framework.

 

2609: Introduction to C# Programming with Microsoft® .NET
In this five-day instructor-led course, developers learn the fundamental skills that are required to design and develop object-oriented applications for the Web and Microsoft Windows® by using Microsoft Visual C#® .NET and the Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET development environment. This course provides an alternative entry point for less experienced programmers who are not familiar with object-oriented design and programming with Windows or the Web.

 

2640: Upgrading Web Development Skills from ASP to Microsoft® ASP.NET
This three-day, instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills that are needed to successfully upgrade their existing Active Server Pages (ASP) skills, as well as upgrading their Web applications, to Microsoft ASP.NET. This course also explains the new features of ASP.NET that can then be leveraged to improve an existing Web application.

 

2663: Programming with XML in the Microsoft® .NET Framework
This three-day instructor-led his course teaches developers how to program with XML in the Microsoft® .NET Framework in order to build Microsoft Windows® or Web-based integrated applications that are easier to build, scalable, and flexible.

 

2710: Analyzing Requirements and Defining Microsoft® .NET Solution Architectures
This five-day, instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to design Microsoft .NET-connected solutions to business problems.

 

2717: Introduction to Microsoft® .NET Development
This two-day instructor-led seminar provides students with an introduction to the technologies that comprise the Microsoft .NET strategy. This course is a high-level overview of multiple aspects of .NET, and is intended as a starting point for developers and business decision-makers to evaluate Microsoft .NET tools and technologies. As an introductory seminar, it provides pointers to training courses and other resources that give more detail on specific topics.

 

2840: Implementing Security for Applications
This five-day instructor-led class provides students with a thorough grounding in Microsoft .NET security implementation and general development security best practices. This course will prepare a student to take the Implementing Security for Applications exam (available in Microsoft Visual Basic® .NET 70-330 and Microsoft Visual C#® 70-340).

 

3201: Developing Microsoft® ASP.NET 2.0 Web Applications
This three-day course introduces students to ASP.NET 2.0. Focusing on the new features and functionality of ASP.NET, this course will show the advancements from ASP.NET 1.x to ASP.NET 2.0 in creating applications. Sample code in both Microsoft® Visual Basic® .NET and Microsoft Visual C#®.
