Cleveland
Webworks is the regional and nationwide marketing initiative developed
by DeVore Technologies to promote hosting, web and application design
and Internet access. As DeVore Technologies continues to grow, the
Cleveland Webworks vehicle was created as a subsidiary dedicated
to design and management of Internet services. Market saturation
and the extreme competitive nature of existing Internet providers
and services allowed DeVore create a new entity that could develop
self-awareness and products and specialized services to the marketplace.
DeVore brings years of project management, exceptional client service
and customer dedication to the table and Webworks is the latest
effort to promote these exceptional services. Cleveland Webworks
allows DeVore Technologies to focus on computer training, contract
personnel placement, computer classroom rentals and corporate application
development. In turn, Cleveland Webworks allows DeVore to provide
Internet access to the public arena while maintaining corporate
relationships and most importantly, own a web hosting infrastructure.
The ownership of a network infrastructure give us the freedom to
develop custom applications without relying on a third party host
which is the center of our marketing strategy.
Cleveland Webworks by name infers web related services. The formation
of our initiative was built upon 5 fundamental strategies:
1) Reliable, dedicated Internet access to ourselves and our clients,
2) Owning a web and application hosting infrastructure without relying
on unreliable third party's,
3) Non participation in web reseller programs or offer web hosting
reselling packages,
4) Reinforce the policy of non-proprietary coding techniques used
within our web and desktop solutions and
5) Dedicated customer service.
At Cleveland Webworks, we recognize that we cannot be successful
alone and we do have strategic partnerships. We have partnered with
Fidelity Access for dedicated Internet access and provisioning.
Through Fidelity we are able to offer our clients quality high speed
Internet access. We have partnered with Thawte for secure certificates
and other security signing services. Using a single source CA (certificate
authority) allows us to manage and maintain secure certificates
and other security products with their support team. For hardware
solutions, we utilize Cisco and Dell for all servers, networking
hardware and have technical support contracts with these manufacturers.
Internet security is essential for maintaining a hosting infrastructure
and the heart of our network is SonicWALL technology. We have selected
SonicWALL as a partner to supply all of our Internet security appliances
and software in addition to our valued clients. We are Microsoft
Certified Partner and our primary desktop and server software of
choice is the Microsoft platform. With our partnership with Microsoft,
we can offer the entire Microsoft product catalog, technical support,
special rebate and competitive upgrade programs and product demonstrations
to our clients. For our clients that prefer open source solutions,
we have selected PHP web programming, the Fedora operating system
and openSSL for security. As a an application solution provider,
we are open to many other types of programming and technical configurations
and a client need only ask what we are capable of. Our strength
is limited only to the talent of our employees and is sharpened
by our dedicated clients.
What does the future hold? Currently we are planning an additional
infrastructure upgrade, implementing additional security enhancements,
altering our risk assessment and policies, and as always, building
the best custom web applications. We are also planning a new marketing
strategy for 3rd and 4th quarter 2004 and as we grow to be Northeast
Ohio's best provider, we will share our success stories with you.
Welcome
to the Works!
