When DeVore Technologies teamed up with Bob Coppedge of Simplex-It to promote our goal of giving back, we knew it was a recipe for success. The high-end technical course filled to capacity immediately after being announced. All proceeds were given to the Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U.) organization.

DeVore Team + Bob Coppedge + Clients = A Supportive Community

The DeVore technologies team would like to thank everyone who helped make this program a success. Bob Coppedge donated his time and expertise to teach the class. Microsoft partnered with DeVore and provided additional materials and sponsored a catered lunch. DeVore Technologies donated the training manuals .

This class was the second in a series in which DeVore and Simplex-IT have worked together in order to give back to Youth Opportunities Unlimited. Not only did this project help to benefit the Youths of Y.O.U. but it helped to enforce and support fundamental computer skills in North East Ohio’s employees.

Look for the third class in this program of “giving back” early in 2010. Keep a space open in your calendar so that you can take advantage!

Christopher M. Connor receives the Norman Cohn Hope Award

Lori DeVore serves her second term on the Corporate Committee for The National Multiple Sclerosis Buckeye Chapter and the entire Corporate Committee is proud that Dinner of Champions was a tremendous success!

The highlight of the evening was Christopher M. Connor, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Sherwin-Williams Company an 8.0 Billion Global Leader in the Paint and Coatings Industry who received the Norman Cohn Hope Award on Thursday, November 5th.

Chris and Lori share something that hits close to home, with family members affected by MS. Chris Connor made sure guests left with a better understanding of Multiple Sclerosis and how these Annual Dinner of Champions events help in improving lives while continuing to work towards a cure. The event exceeded the financial goals through hard work, dedication and from our corporate clients! We welcomed 320 guests (goal 300) and raised $164,000 (goal $150,000).

Last year 2008, Tom Zenty, III, CEO/President of University Hospitals was presented the Norman Cohn Award. Next year we hope you JOIN THE MOVEMENT!
