Last evening the NEOSA 2010 Awards were held at Corporate College and the event was absolutely amazing! Northeast Ohio is home to thousands of tech companies; businesses doing cutting edge creative work and adding to the growth and vitality of the region. DeVore enjoys supporting our local community by being a part of the great energy Cleveland has to offer and to work with companies such as NEOSA and COSE who play an integral role in businesses in Northeast Ohio.
DeVore and our team are very grateful and would like to offer a special thank you to the staff at NEOSA, and a special thank you to Brad Nellis at NEOSA, COSE and to the judges for recognizing the 2010 NEOSA Best of Tech Awards. Gabriel Torok, President and CEO, Preemptive Solutions as well as Chairman for NEOSA stated, "This year's class of finalists and winners represent truly unique and inspirational businesses. We're excited to recognize fine companies and impressive products; we're certain that these companies will achieve great success in the technology industry. Determining finalists and winners from the many outstanding nominations we received was difficult. The breadth and quality of nominations is a testament to the creativity and diversity of the tech industry in this region. All of our nominees, finalists and winners should be proud of their accomplishments".
There were seven (7) Categories for this event: Internship Program, Tech Innovation, Emerging Company, IT Services Company, Social Networking Application, Mobile Application and Software Product. See below for winners and finalist. Along with this evening event NEOSA and COSE recognized the COOLTECH CHALLENGE '10 - a contest to spark an interest in technology among high school students in the region. Winning Teams were Firestone High School, Copley High School and Grand River Academy and on the NEOSA website they announce the students who were awarded more than $8,000 in scholarships and prizes.
NEOSA is an organization comprised of more than 800 companies from all facets of the Information Technologies field. The mission of NEOSA is to foster an environment "that enables the growth and development of the area’s (Northeast Ohio's) information technology-based organizations to complete in a global market." Each year NEOSA honors not only outstanding companies but also impressive tech entrepreneurs in Northeast Ohio with a series called the “Best of Tech Awards. It is NEOSA's goal to promote Northeast Ohio as a remarkable place to work and live by awarding exceptional companies and leaders with this honor.
