Client Challenge
Rockwell Automation is a leading industrial automation company
focused to be the most valued global provider of power, control
and information solutions. With a focus on automation solutions
that help customers meet productivity objectives, the company
brings together leading brands in industrial automation. With
a host of products, managing photographs of their product
catalog was non-existant. Duplicate costs were made for the
same service of photography.
Project Scope
As a solution, Rockwell needed a centralized cataloging resource
system that could maintain high, medium and low resolution
images of their. They also needed better access to images
for both sales presentations and print materials, yet needed
permission to be granted for the use of high resolution images
in print applications. The Client needed a central storage
capability for the management of the images it owned. |

Resolution
The initial release and prototype was a desktop application
that was delivered via a CDROM. The application used a detailed
search to locate the product via several categorical selections.
After the concept was delivered, DeVore was asked to create
a web based version as for global deployment. |
